There have been some interesting cuts made today...as teams try to get into compliance with the top 51 cap number by 4PM EST today (1.5 hours left).

I think the Pats are being very wise by sitting pat and letting the market come to them. I think we will sign a veteran DL man, one more CB, one more OL, and maybe 1-2 LBers....

Also, the Pats moved Mason for a 5th...I think primarily because we didn't get any comp picks this year and wanted some more picks in the draft.

I think we can expect a large UDFA class as well....
 
Let's hope Ted Karras gets the same cold feet.
I hope not. I don't want a guard of Karras's abilities eating up $8m of our salary cap. Heck, we just jettisoned Mason for $10m in savings.
 
I know BB have plans this year for Sophomore DE Ronnie Perkins but the more the merrier.
I want them to throw Perkins, Uche, and Jennings into the deep end this ear. If they can't swim, let's find out now.

Winovich was probably the most frustrating 3-year player here that I've seen, other than because of injuries.
 
Raiders also get Rock Ya-Sin from Colts.

Chandler gets $51M for 3 years.
 
I'd be hesitant to pay Chandler Jones $17 million a year. If he can return to his 2020 and before form, sure. But last year he had 5 sacks in the opening game and then 5.5 sacks the next 17 games if you include the playoff game.

What? Jones is 32. That 3rd year must be tacked on for cap purposes. Even so, that's a lotta moolah for him.
 
He's been pretty forgettable to this point, unfortunately.
So the Patriots have a lot of young Edge Players to go with Judon. I can't see them going for a Edge players in this Draft knowing who they already have in the fold interesting.

In that division Josh is going to really need him with those opposing QB's good luck.
