Isn't that too high...?1 year, $2.62 million for Slater.
That's what I thought. Not sure what players who strictly play special teams make.Isn't that too high...?
I get the leadership part.. but when we are so starved of cap, don't understand this signing.
Wonder if we’d have interest here?

That’s because with McDaniels gone, they’re going to start re-employing the Slater go route that’s in the playbook……That's what I thought. Not sure what players who strictly play special teams make.
Good question, maybe his time on the practice squad in 2020 impacted this? How could they tender him? Hasn’t he been in the league for ages?

I rooted for Karras, he's a fellow Greek American, his uncle Alex was a legend, but while Karras did well at the point of attack and held his own, he was SSSSS LLLLL OOOOO WWWWWW anytime he pulled and he almost always was late to get there, giving a defender a free pass. We can do better.Karras came in and really stabilized the line. Bummed to see him go. Would’ve liked to have brought him back and traded Mason. Get some solid picks and free up that cap space. I know Mason has been great, but we have a lot of needs. Finding a solid guard with a whole offseason to plan for it shouldn’t be too difficult. Then again, who knows anymore.

This reminds me of the TY Law fiasco. TY said bill promised a certain amount then when he met him to sign it it was considerably less.
