A self-proclaimed Chicago Bears insider, Ben Devine, says Mason Graham is 1 or 2 on their board. This is relevant to us because:

a) Graham is heavily mocked to the Jags @5 and

b) The Bears have two second rounders.



I don’t know how reliable Devine is though.

2 ~31 year olds, with our starter having a decent injury history - and due for one any week.

This draft has the closest "sure-thing" Gronk-like player at the top in Warren. He's a true "blue chip" play maker and franchise TE for 12 years. (I've also mentioned Jeanty as the other - but we don't need a RB like we need a TE)

There are plenty of low 1st / high 2nd round LT's to pick. And same for WR's, which are the biggest risk for the Patriots franchise.
Why not take the guaranteed difference maker now, before you absolutely need one and it's too late to develop?

Decent dept at TE this year I don't like the Miami TE E Arroyo he seems like mash unit always injured. I like Mason Taylor - Terrance Ferguson - Luke Lachey - Mitch Evans - Gunner Helm - Jalin Conyers and Hal Fannin. One or two of the latter Five should be available on Day 3.

Good to know, if true. And imo the Bears would be paying a low price if the Patriots accepted the #39 to move to 10.

Very high 2nd Rounders too 39 and 41. Having Two Second Rounder in this Draft would be really nice.

Warren is one of a number of guys I’m fine with at #4. My major concern with Jeanty there is the productive lifespan of top running backs, in career terms. They won’t be really serious contenders the next two years, so how much beyond that will he be highly productive? Warren on the other hand would be hitting his stride 3 years from now, and could be Maye’s security blanket for a decade, as Kelce has been to Mahomes,

I gotta say, this is probably an unpopular take, but if Mason Graham is there at 4, and he should be, and Hunter and Carter are gone, I'm just taking Graham.

I don't understand why he's suddenly being disregarded by so many pundits. He is the most disruptive player in the entire class, and has been year on year. He's got a super high floor and an Aaron Donald-ish ceiling. He's an absolute wrecking ball but people are overanalyzing his measurables. Yes, he's shorter than you'd like but he uses that to his advantage. His understanding of balance and momentum is incredible, you can really tell he was a high level wrestler. I think he's really special and would run the pick in, even if it's not a position of need necessarily.

I think he's a generational player and you don't pass on the chance to draft them, just so you can add two decent players.

It's the Milton Williams signing. We have Barmore (hopefully) and Milton Williams on the interior with Keion White probably getting significant snaps there too. Also in Tennessee, Vrabel had 7th rounders and UDFAs partnering Jeffrey Simmons almost entirely. As good as Graham is, I don't love the value as he'd hopefully be a rotational player. We've had him in for a visit since the Williams signing so I wouldn't rule him out but, at least for me, he's at the backend of players I want at 4.

That win was more about Milton playing lights out backyard football than Mayo coaching a great game to win.

In hindsight, Drake should have played the entire game. I don't think he would have tried to win it with hero ball

Unless we had an equivalently bad Mike White level QB, we were losing that game.
Only positive came out of it is we got a little something for Milton.
Even if Carter and Hunter become perennial pro bowlers or become all pro level players and we draft Campbell and he plays a good to very good LT for a decade plus it is not going to be the worst outcome.
