I don't feel like FGs are automative with this line. Can you trust it to give your kicker protection? If possible it be nice to snap the ball a few more yards back to give your kicker more run incase a rusher comes free.. It will make the kick longer but better to kick it two more yards than have it blocked. I know they train for an 8 yard snap, but maybe it be good to consider it.

Only if you practiced it. Otherwise taking a guy whose everything is routine and exact duplication of procedures and saying hey change up in the middle of a win or go home game……sounds like an Indy 4th down punt formation LOL
