NFL App from Verizon

As an FYI, if you have a Verizon SmartPhone, I would highly recommend the NFL App. It is free and among other things, allows you to watch NFL-Network live. It was highly useful while I was at the draft during a family function.

Verizon said the application is available on 13 smartphones and multimedia phones, ranging from the Droid to a plethora of BlackBerrys and LG (SEO: 066570) Chocolate Touch, the LG enV TOUCH, and the Samsung Rogue. Android users can download it in the market starting today; BlackBerry users can go to NFL Mobile from their browser to download it; and other customers can text “NFL” to 2777 to receive instructions.

And this is one of the reasons why the iPhone sucks. There are 1000 reasons why I love my iPhone, but Verizon is 100x better coverage wise (at least in NY) than AT&T, and Verizon has great NHL and NFL apps. I hope and pray that the rumors are true that the iPhone will be coming to Verizon, especially since my contract is up in May.

Tried texting it with my Palm but the reply says it's not available gfor Get It Now or Media Center enabled phones.

Last August I reupped with Sprint so I could get a Palm Pre and have all the NFL content. Verizon is superior to Sprint in every way, but I wanted to stick with the NFL.

Now I have a phone from a company that was just sold to HP and 0 NFL content. Thanks, Sprint!
