NFL 2012 Kicks Off: Cowboys at Giants Tonight

lol look at Rodney

Demarcus Ware's demeanor is 180 when he's talking to reporter and when he's running after the QB.

.......until tonight

The Giants have a worse secondary than most of the league now with those injuries, they are going to have to put up lots of points on the board if they are to win next week.

Maybe this year we'll get to see how close to "elite" Eli really is Even though his pass D probably won't be quite as bad, I'd love to see him try to take one with our 2011 pass D to the super bowl

One thing I did not see from Romo today was that giddiness he displays after every good play during the game. I used to see him laugh, not concentrating enough on the next play once someone makes a big play. Tonight, he was all focused and only celebrated the touchdowns and that was it. Watch out people, Dallas is a dangerous team.

Dez Bryant will put his embarrassing offseason aside and will be at or on top of the WR yards......I could see Bryant with about 1,400 yards this year.

The great ones do that...I recall Bubba Smith and Jack Reynolds being the same way.

It did look like a new Romo tonight, I have to gladly eat some crow right now ! Amazing and clutch performance from him

The Giants are who we thought they were!

The Giants were actually tackling Bryant downfield all night...I had the Dallas radio feed on and their announcers were going ape-shyte all night about it

I'm a very happy camper. Watching the Cowboys win like this reminds me of how my sister loved them, and watching Eli's sour face was the icing on the cake.

It's going to be a great season, I can tell. :rocker:

Giants lose. Well good. I have Romo and Murray on my fantasy team so it was a good outcome for me. Cruz dropped a few easy passes that he shouldn't have though and he's on my fantasy team as well.

Giants offense looked kinda sloppy. They will have to pick it up a notch. Where in the world did Ogletree come from? He made some big plays out there. Dallas looks stacked at receiver if Ogltree is for real.

I don't see Denver beating Pittsburgh... And I say this with my prediction of the Steelers missing the playoffs this year, the Broncos will also be out IMO
I disagree since the Baltimore Ravens will not be as good this season as last.

Baltimore lost the following starters to unrestricted free agency:

Ben Grubbs
Jarrett Johnson
Cory Redding

Without Terrell Suggs (2011-12 NFL Defensive Player of the Year), the Baltimore Ravens defense will suffer this season.

Great way to start the season

The Dallas Cowboys run a modern offense.

Come Sunday afternoon, Tony Sparano will turn back the Jets offense at least 50 years.

That Romo INT in the first qtr was pure Romo. Then a new guy showed up, the one he always hints at. The one who shredded secondaries this preseason.

And man, I want to point out how wretched Witten was tonight. If this was baseball, his WAR would be negative. The 50th best TE in the game would have outplayed him tonight.

Ecry had 213 yards passing..72 on that drive in the 4th quarter where the G Men were called for ZERO holds, even though Ware and Co. were invisible....strange...series earlier the Cowboys get flagged five times straight even though Romo was connecting at will and the Boys were running all over the Giant defense...then when the Giants NEED to finally gain yardage under pressure...ZERO calls on the Giants....Dallas ahead...five calls in a row...Giants behind, time winding down...no calls...yeah....uh...get the real refs back on the field before Goodell dictates that Vince McMahon take over as guest head ref on Monday Night Football.

Ian Rapoport ?@RapSheet
Lol. #snuggles RT @StevePoliti Giants LB Mathias Kiwanuka: "I haven't been held this much since I was a baby."

I think the AFC North is so hard to predict this year. You can make a case for and against all the contenders. I do know that 3 teams won't make it though!

I don't blame him. The officiating was terrible.

You really need to pop some relaxants when the subjects of football, New York, Goodell and conspiracy theories become intertwined Joker.

nah...actually it invigorates me...and c'mon...even the biggest Goodell lover has to admit this ref fiasco is a total joke...this should have NEVER been an issue THIS season in particular
