Maybe this should be moved to a different forum (Mods?), but I'm curious to know what you guys think. Clowney is a freak of nature, a seemingly irresistible force on defense - excellent against the run, destroyer of quarterbacks against the pass. Seems like a lock for the #1 pick, right (barring injury, of course)?
However, Teddy Bridgewater is also a dominant player at QB, which is the most valued position on the field. He could be the next great franchise QB in the league.
So if the Pats had the #1 pick, who would you take? On the one hand, you have a dominant rusher to line up along with Jones, and in Brady's remaining years, he might be of more value.
On the other hand, you have what may be the Patriots' Aaron Rodgers or Steve Young to their Brett Favre and Joe Montana - the next great franchise QB to lead them the next 10-12 years after Brady finally retires.
I'm gonna guess that most folks here would still go with Clowney, but still....might make for an interesting decision.
