Larry Webster and Logan Thomas had nearly identical measurables and benchmarks, and they are reasonably competitive with basketball converts to TE like Jimmy Graham and Jordan Cameron:
- Logan Thomas: 6' 6 1/8" 248#, 34 1/4" arms, 10 5/8" hands; 4.61 40, 1.59 10 yard split, 35.5" vertical, 9' 10" broad jump, 4.18 short shuttle, 7.05 3-cone.
- Larry Webster: 6' 5 6/8" 252#, 33 1/2" arms, 10 1/8" hands; 4.58 40, 1.57 10 yard split, 36.5" vertical, 10' 3" broad jump; 7.29 3-cone is a bit pedestrian
- Jimmy Graham: 6' 6 1/4" 260#, 35" arms, 10 5/8" hands; 4.53 40, 1.53 10 yard split, 38.5" vertical, 10' broad jump, 4.39 short shuttle, 6.90 3-cone
- Jordan Cameron: 6' 5 1/4" 254#, 33 1/2" arms, 9 3/4" hands; 4.53 40, 1.53 10 yard split, 37.5" vertical, 9'11" broad jump, 4.03 short shuttle, 6.82 3-cone
I think that these guys have the kind of raw athleticism which translates into success at the position in the NFL, more so than the polished TE prospects who have more experience at the position. I'd love to get one or both and develop them.
