Newbies on the 53 Week One

Often there are players not on the Pats today added to the 53 after cut downs. How many, if any, this year?

If by "newbies", you mean "new to the team", that would include FA acquisition like Clayborn, Shelton, Trent Brown, probably Hill. Add draft picks Bentley, Dawson and Michel, and that's seven right there.

If you meant just "rookies", it might have been better to simply use that term.

Define 'newbie" Usually there are 10-15 players who weren't on the roster last year if you include draft picks, FA, trades and the obligatory UDFA.....

I think he means players who were elsewhere during training camp.
