I can't think of a franchise more in need of something to distract the fanbase from its on field product than the Jets.

Maybe, just maybe, Goodell got wind of evil genius BB's plan to hire strippers from Rhode Island's 'Foxy Lady' to flash and like TOTALLY distract the Jets or some other weenie team this year. Could be.

I'm a little late on this one, but I was think along the same lines. Make it just like in the movie "The Replacements" where the strippers gyrate while the opposing offence is on the field, just to "distract" them a little bit. Imagine the offensive line in a three point stance without using their hands.

Seriously, what a bizarre rule. If a guy can't manage to take his eyes off the cheerleaders long enough to tie his shoes, that's his own damn fault. (On the other hand, think how much funnier the whole "cheating" scandal would have been if BB stood accused of mis-positioning cheerleaders instead of cameras!)

Geez, why doesn't Goodell just have all the games played on a neutral field?
If the franchise wants to have the pretty girls in the short shorts over by the opposing team, they should be allowed to do that.

Actually, I think he's trying for an entire league of Little Lord Fauntleroys.

Sorry to burst your bubble but they do and they weren't that bad....for New Yorkers......They were attractive enough to stop conversations when they were broadcast on the Jumbotron during the cameragate game....

I thought I read somewhere that the Patriots cheerleaders sign a contract that they cannot "fraternize" with the Patriots players? Maybe they are warming up in front of the visitors' locker room because they *can* fraternize!
