It's easy, and only takes a few moments. But the Patriots are 2-0 with Davis in their lineup, and no, we’re not saying he’s the cause for New England’s sudden upswing. But the Patriots pretty desperately needed a nose tackle in the middle of their defense once it became obvious that Beau Allen wasn’t going to play this season. Davis is a nose tackle. He’s an immediate improvement over the players New England was putting in the middle of its defense because they weren’t nose tackles.
The Patriots have let up just 180 combined rushing yards over their last two games. T
Who nose?he's a nose tackle replacing not nose tackles in the nose tackle position. luv it..
Yep, going into the season Beau was an important piece, not because he was a stud, but because he had a huge utility value to the Pats as the lone true big bodied NT. Plugging Carl in, is like replacing a spare tire donut on your sports car with an adequate replacement tire. Yeah, Isaiah Mack...His lack of size dictates that he's more of a gap-penetrator than gap-controller however...Still, I'd like to see him being given a chance on the game-day active...After all, can he be any worse than Byron Coward?Nice to get a lil info on this guy, it seems like hes had a very positive impact n an area it was desperately needed. Wasn’t there another signing recently an isaiah something that looked like could be a low key bargain
