With rain in the forecast on Sunday before and during the game, the new turf could take a beating as the mild temperatures could also contribute to sloppy conditions. Could we see a return to Sand Pit II? This could prompt Colts GM Bill Polian to demand that the NFL force the Patriots to install a new dome to cover Gillette Stadium.

could care less about the field...its just been a filler news in the past weeks ..."it is what it is" now...

Colts won't be playing this year here again...so??? not an issue...

New FieldTurf?

Newsflash: The Pats resodded the middle of Gillette. There was no FieldTurf (i.e. artificial) installed. That report was erroneous.

report wasnt erronaneus

we were going to..but the league didnt allow to do it till offseason
