New England Patriots Now Turn Their Focus to the Cardinals

Win or Lose, I'm ready for some Patriot football and see what BB/Patricia/McDaniels comes up with.

Still hurts that TB isn't there and it will be interesting to see how this impacts me going forward.

I love stuff like this and hope that you continue to drop info like this throughout the season, but could you attempt to either break this down or elaborate upon it? Thank you.

It just seems like it's either worded a bit wonky or maybe it's just getting late.
Let me take a crack at it, but I am probably wrong.

The OP wrote: "Teams that finished with a worse season record the previous year (by less than 9 games) than their present week 1 opponent that are NOT home dogs have been 135-82 ATS, 62.2%."

AZ was 13--3 last year
NE was 12--4
The Pats are "NOT home dawgs."
Therefore, there is a 62.2% chance that the Pats beat the spread of six points by which AZ is favored?

How'd I do?

I think Patriots will win if we don't make turnovers and mistakes because our defense and especially front seven don't allow to make cardinals to make 5-20 yards per play.........Bill Belichick/Patricia is magic spells on our defense against Arizona Cardinals.

I think that we have all forgotten what football can be like when the Gronk has been unleashed. This Sunday, we will unchain the Gronk and let him wreak havoc among the Cardinals and the Patriots offense will give hope to Patriots fans.

The Patriots defense, and more specifically the secondary is in the best shape its been since 2004. 5 corners deep, 3 safeties that could start anywhere and a 4th that is talented. The DL and LBs are very good, the Patriots are being underrated.

I really like what I see in this team.

After reading the above and thinking about it a bit, I come to the conclusion that a Pats win this Sunday will turn the League on its ear and set the Pats up for another SB run.

A Pats loss won't be the end of the world, but it will be one more game that they have to make up somewhere.
