"The Patriots will only go as far as Mac will take them"? Oh, I disagree heavily with that statement. They got wiped out by the Bills in the playoffs. That wasn't because of Mac. That was because of the defense. And they refused to upgrade the D in the draft and free agency and lost key contributors like Van Noy and JC Jackson. Also they're betting the farm on a bunch of unproven and injury-prone guys at LB.

The Pats will only go as far as their D will take them.
