Why would you ignore the Cards at #4 to trade with the Charges. The Cards want Harrison and you can let both of them offer us picks? If we trade with the Cards we still control the draft at #4. We can pick the QB ourselves or get the Giants and Falcons to bid for the last top rated QB..... It's a no brainer

Great point. If Caleb Williams and Drake Maye go 1&2, you can flip picks with the Cards to get a little extra, let them take Marvin Harrison Jr. and still take Jayden Daniels at #4.

Guyton has played just Right Tackle, and some linemen can't play on both sides of the center. Mike Owenu can't play on the left side. I just think that Alt is a generational talent at LT. How many times does a can't miss QB turn out to be a dud?

Or Alt could turn out to be the next Tony Mandarich and meanwhile Jayden Daniels turns out to be the next Lamar Jackson.

Then you have a LOT of egg on your face!

The truth usually ends up somewhere in between but why not go for the highest upside when you currently have the worst QB room in the NFL?

If the Pats really want Daniels why would they do all that risky trading just to get jumped by another team or the Giants simply picking him with their round 1 selection. Daniels contract isn't stopping the Giants from picking another QB. Some people have this fear of taking the 3rd QB and him being a bust. Has everyone forgotten about the 2020 draft which yielded Burrow, Tua, Herbert, Love and Hurts ALL in the first round? If Daniels is developed properly I see no reason why he wouldn't be immensely better than freakin Jones and Zappe.
