He has a chronic shoulder injury that has sidelined him for I think a half dozen games this year (and bunch last year). Neal is good, but next year I would not be surprised to find Yates or someone else in that spot.

WRONG!! It may be chronic as he has been on IR a few years with it...a LONG time ago..BUT this would be only his 4th game missed because of it this year...NOT a half dozen and the bunch you talk about was only 3 of last year. Neal is athletic and will stay!

Neal is not quite probowl material at right Guard but is not far from it. I also beleive that the Pat's are just letting him have another week besides the bye to rest the shoulder and let it fully heal.

If we were in the playoffs, I'm sure he would play.
