This team is SO much different than those other teams, especially now without Edelman...the comparisons to those other "slow starters" are apples to oranges..

the difference is that this team sucking is not nearly the head-scratcher that the previous ones have been.......you can't even blame it on youth

I've learned never to count out a healthy TB12 and Coach BB. I thought in 2014 we were doomed they looked flat and Brady was playing worse than now and we all know what happened. Season is a marathon not a sprint as long as we have Tom and Bill I like our chances

The 2014 team was well-rounded and loaded on both sides of the ball.

The 2018 defense is laughable by comparison.

You’re lying to yourself if you can’t see that this feels different.

It always feels crappy when the sky seems to be falling. I'm not smart enough to discern degrees of crappiness.

The only "good news" is that we don't have long to wait. A week from tomorrow, the Pats will either be:
3--2 (and everybody will be back on the bandwagon, claiming they never got off )
2--3 (still in doodoo, but all will still not be lost )
1--4 (Yeah, fine, then I'll admit that "this feels different." )
