I’m guessing Michel will go on IR (the kind you can come back from after week 8).

Even if he had a meniscus repair, as I suspect, he will be practicing by the start of the season and ready for action soon after. Keeping him off the field for a couple of months would hurt his development, take away a unique weapon, and use up a valuable IR return (leaving only 1 for the entire season). I see this as unlikely.

I guess the ironic part is that even when we DO have 1st round picks, they end up not playing.

Even last year, our first pick of the draft missed the entire year.
