Ndamukong Suh fined $30K

His right leg goes forward as he flips around, just as his left does. The only thing that is a change is that the right leg hits the ground faster than the left leg hits the QB.

Are you ******* blind? Seriously? It has nothing to do with his legs whipping around. It has everything to do with him deliberately extending his leg to kick Schaub. I doubt he was aiming for the nuts, but he was aiming for Schaub.

You're disagreeing whether or not one leg is bent and the other is straight.

No, I'm disagreeing over whether there was intent or not. You're claiming intent based upon a follow through that was perfectly sensible, on the basis of so-called "common sense".

Watch the leg in the video. It does not continue downward, but goes for the groin. If he is falling in one direction, his momentum will continue to take all his body parts in that direction. He doesn't, and he has a pretty good idea where the qb is located.

Seriously. If it was accidental, he would have MAYBE grazed Schaub with a toe, not hit him square with the ball of his foot because he extended his leg.

Him kicking away from his body and momentum was "perfectly sensible." That's just great.

I'm not blind. I'm not willing to read things into a split second of film when it's the same sort of thing I've seen happen many times in the past, in situations where I'm certain there was no intent.

Go outside. Play some sports that involve contact. I suggest hockey, in particular. Maybe you'll figure it out.

Show me an instance of a guy getting kicked in the groin by a player who fully extended his leg when, if there was no intent, he would have just rolled by. I'll keep a light on for you.

There's no sense continuing with this, because you're clueless on this topic.

Been hit in the junk many a time in my life playing sports, but never once with a straight leg. Put up or shut up. Give me an example of a guy getting kicked in the groin unintentionally by a player who went out of his way to extend his leg.

It looks deliberate to me.

So, they can't figure out intent, but they'll fine the guy $30k, just in case. Once again, the stupidity of the NFL discipline policy is on display...

WTF? That's just crazy! I ain't a fan of the guy but that's just stupid!

"We don't know if you did anything wrong, but here's a 30,000 dollar fine just in case" This is ridiculously asinine.

Actually, it's: "We know your history. Even though it's not CLEAR that you intended to kick Schaub in the groin, we're going to fine you anyway."

Again, I don't think he should've been fined. But, come on ...

I've taken shots from guys knocked down in football, hockey, rugby and even basketball once. Not once was it done with intent. In the case at hand, Suh wasn't even facing the QB until about 1/10 of a second before contact, and the league, famous for handing out penalties like candy on Halloween, conceded its inability to ascertain intent.

Now, it may have been intentional. It may not have been intentional. One thing it definitely wasn't, though was "common sense" that it was intentional. That's just a garbage claim on your part.

He deliberately extended his leg and kicked out. It was a completely unnatural physical act in relation to his momentum and required effort. He didn't just clip him as he rolled by. It was exactly the same physical movement from his stomp last Thanksgiving. He wasn't facing the guy then, either, and he lashed out and kicked him. I guess we couldn't judge intent there, either, because he said he was off-balance.

But you keep on with the, "Oh, there's just no WAY we can tell what he meant to do!" The next time he does it, you can just cut and paste.

As I said, there's no sense continuing with this, because you're clueless on this topic. You seem to think that time stands still on command and people are always in 100% control of their bodies.

You're right. It had to be a tic. He should get treatment.

Guilty. Suh is not fit for sharing this planet with humans. IMO, but of course I could be wrong :nooo:
