Ray Lewis? He's yesterday's news. Maybe 5 years ago, yes, but not now.

Look at his stats compared to Teddy Bruschi then make that statement again.

rogers was on pace for 70 receptions, 777 yards, and 10 td's pre injury his rookie season, then his soph year he only played in one game, and this past year he had to deal with two other first rounders taking away time as well as kevin jones recieving a lot of carries, as well as a weird qb situation, this guy has all the potential in the world, id give up to our second third for him and maybe a late day 2 pick

I think when Keyshawn gets released by Dallas - when the sign T.O. - he'll land in N.E.

I agree I can see that happening because BB can handle Keyshawn and I also
think they have much respect for each other.

Trade For Wide Receiver

Let's hold off trading as a last resort. Our last two trades netted us

Duane Starks and Andre Davis.

Instead, pick up a couple of free agent WR's and draft a couple more.

The only problem with drafting WR's is that they take time to develop.

An exception was Deion Branch who showed his talents at the

first mini-camp.

Actually..this scenario is sounding better as time goes on..Detroit is heavy on young receivers...so a trade would do them a lot of good. They have I think 10-11 wideouts on the roster now..but 3 number ones??? Add another and?? What are they doing??? Would make sense to get one of the 3....young and tall and..if they can also sign Keyshawn..I think the WR position will even be stronger than it has ever been..the ONLY fly in the ointment of even signing
one...is the money..they may try to draft a few and..hope someone steps up..and sign a FA like Patten as insurance...later on. But how can the Lions keep all and keep them happy??

Exactly Pats726, why would the Lions add yet another WR (Bradford) when they are loaded already? That is precisely what triggered this trade idea.

Rogers has gotten hurt yes, but just picture TB tossing to a monster like him in the redzone while Branch burns around the field. TB would wet his trousers if a deal like this went through..

How much are the Lions paying Rogers? He was the 2nd pick in the draft, so it isn't like he's getting chump change. As much as Givens would have cost? More?

This doesn't make sense. No way they signed Martz as OC to trade Roy Williams. Martz system needs stud WRs and Williams is the only guy they have. Other than Roy Williams what do they have?

Rogers is injury prone, overpaid, has drug problems, and has been suspended for poor practice habits.

Mike Williams also makes big $ and hasn't done anything on a football field since 2003.

There is simply no WR value in trading with Detroit. Their hyped guys are so pathetic that they were beaten out for a starting spot this year by an undrafted rookie free agent named Scottie Vines.

It's going to be Moulds... wait and see.

How? It's a mystery, but trust me it'll be Moulds.
