My guess will either draft or sign a rookie FA kicker...

I dont think we sign Endiger, just because we need a kicker.. I think we wait till late April and sign a rookie free agent or we do draft one.. I could be wrong , but just a hunch...

what's min. wage for a rookie kicker. 300,000? That saves 2 to 2.5 million dollars in cap room right there. If we can get one that kicks the ball into the endzone for a touchback, that saves the team 10 yards of field-possession.

My gut feeling is we have 3 rookie/world league PK in camp.

I agree, Edinger has been a poor kicker the past few years. We're better off with a rookie. I like 2 prospects coming in, Steven Gostowski from Memphis and Ben Jones from Perdue. Gostowski is probably the most accurate kicker inside 40 yards. Jones has a more powerful leg, and is tremendous at kickoffs, but has had some durability issues.

I think, with 2 compensatory picks coming in, either is worth a lare rounder.
