Too early to go with names here ... so I won't bother.

However .... I'd wager now that Belichick takes a CB or LB in RD1

Then trades the other #1 to pick up an additional pick.

Then selects a smaller or recieving type 3rd down type RB in round 2
along with a LB or CB...whichever not selected in round 1.

Corey Dillon is slowing down ... he will get way beat up in the playoffs.
We are seriously thin should Maroney go down next year....BB won't chance that...I believe he likes the 2-headed RB situation...with the exception that he'd like a bit more variation between the 2 than he has now.

I woudn't mind another RB next year. Denver always seems to have 3 or 4 they plug in during the year.

That's a waste. Those guys can be had in the 3rd or 4th round.

Maurice Drew went at the end of round 2.
Jerious Norwood went in the middle of round 3.
Jerome Harrison went in round 5.

Don't waste our picks. You can probably get a good Safety in round 2.

I like the idea of trading our 2nd #1 for a couple of later round picks, but not sure who I would pick.. hate to look at the position without knowing the players, dependent on Graham's status a TE might be good here if a really good DB or LB is not available.

I don't like it to trade down, we have plenty of picks, if we were making a good value trade into 2008 (I love those 2007 #1 for a 2007 #2 and 2008 #1) then I'm interested.

The way these guy's wheel and deal wouldn't be surprised by an awful lot.
1st rd pick of safety,cb If someone they covert is available other wise ,I expect them to trade down.
Stockpile 2-3rd rd picks.
Of course that's my prediction which means ther 1st rd picks will be, TE'S
Miller from AZ,and Olsen from miami:

It is so hard to scout Miller this year. That QB over there, Carpenter, I think, is really a poor thrower so it's really hard to see if Miller can catch consistently. It's also hard to judge if he can get open since he is getting double teamed on almost every play.

Olsen has had some really painful drops this year. That makes me a bit nervous.

A real steal in the mid to late second could be Harris of Rutgers. That team has sort of migrated to more of a running team, so he hasn't had the opportunities that he got in the past. I like his game a lot and he long snaps on special teams.

I can't honestly picture the pats taking a TE in the first rd,but If as expected Graham moves along ,
Have to figure they'll take one somewhere.
