Stat Padfford! Love it lmao

His completion percentage is the highest in team history.
One of the legendary QB seasons in history. Watching him become a superstar has been a treat

Hard to believe with the completion percentage. Elite at all levels this year.

Only reason Matt may win is because he plays for LA. Rams are a wildcard team with a worse record

For breaking a record on a team where Tom ****ing Brady was the QB thats mega impressive

Lost all respect for Stafford, Inc today. What a joke, reminiscent of an Aaron Rodgers campaign. Never should have been close against a bottom feeder. It was clear there was only one objective though. So Maye is “in the lead” and posts a dominant 130+ passer rating but will lose to a guy who averaged 6.5 ypa today but had 4 touchdown passes!!!!!!

Both teams scored about the same amount. As I said, the Aaron Rodgers playbook.

It's wild because before today Maye was the favourite, and then today Maye outperformed Stafford in rating, and was so far ahead he sat the 4th quarter, while Stat Padford was struggling to put away Maye's former backup

In what world could Stafford have overtaken Maye? - in a world where smoothbrain NFL talking heads only look at one metric - passing TD's.

Doesn’t make sense. This was Mayes to lose and he didn’t lose it yet he’s been overtaken by Stafford? Odd.

Reading the tea leaves, Pete Prisco is voting Maye. Florio is as well.

So Maye has 2 1st place votes to start with. Mina Kimes is another so thats 3.

That’s apparently based upon comments made today giving possibly insight to what voters are thinking, particularly Brady
But this is just what people are betting on, it’s not a real change in who will win.

47 to go

As I[ve stated before, I'm kind of ambivalent about Maye getting the MVP, but I'm really pissed about the "soft schedule" crap being a lazy defense of Stafford, who I was shocked to find out he had THIRTEEN one yard TD passes. That is a JOKE! That's an insult to the very STAT of the TD pass. I thought he had a bunch, but literally 28% of all his TD passes went for ONE YARD and I call FRAUD.

But in the end if Drake doesn't win, my disappointment won't last long. Maybe 15 minutes of mutter about being robbed by the NYFL. This kid is a joy to watch and having him on your side makes you in EVERY game for the next 15 years or long after I'm gone. The bad games, and their WILL be some, will always be shocking and the rest of the league will grow to hate us again. What a nice thought

Remember Stuart Scott’s “Cool as the other side of the pillow”? Montana had it, Brady had it (that spike and catch in the SB was such a boss move), and Maye has it. He plays the game like he is in complete control. Amazing for a 2nd year pro in the most difficult position in sports. MVP awards are great, I truly believe Maye could have an era named after him.

FWIW, Brady said on the Fox postgame show that he does not have a vote this year.

this is pathetic

Stafford
8 one yard touchdown passes (tied with 2020 Rodgers for most in a season)

3 two yard touchdown passes

and to add to that, DVOA has the LAR as having the #1 running game in football and a historically great run blocking offensive line. this article was from December 15th

Best Adjusted Line Yards by Offenses, 1995-2025
1. 2025 LAR
2. 2018 LAR
3. 2011 NO
4. 2025 CHI
5. 2018 NO
6. 2025 BUF
7. 2002 DEN
8. 2024 DET
9. 2020 MIN
10. 2017 NE

Yes but he told America who he would vote for.
That certainly influenced people trying to predict who will win.
