you do realize that russell wilson was a nobody until he played the pats
Yawn.
At home.
With 7 days of preparation.
Ignore that fact as much as you wish.

I didn't know that was all it took.......what was I thinking?
the pats have 3 days with an injured vereen, amendola, sudfeld...but no worries......chopped liver
fricking yahoo
Dont know what context it was said but I dont trust the media. Take a look at this nonsense for example
Patriots don?t bother practicing for Jets | ProFootballTalk
Absolutely unreal. Way to make your own news, PFT.Was that drivel written by Borges or Frank Moga?
In order to save everyone the need to click on ProFootballTalk's trolling, here are selections from this "informative piece":
"One of the perils of the short weeks caused by Thursday games is the lack of time to prepare.
So the Patriots, tasked with getting ready for Geno Smith and the Jets in two days, have decided not to......
.....Expect the Jets to play this for full dramatic effect, using it to fuel the no-respect engine that keeps players moving....."
Ummm, yes, numbskull "writer". YOU are the one pimping this idea.
Expect the Jets to play this for full dramatic effect, using it to fuel the no-respect engine that keeps players moving.
You know what? The Jets have talked so often that I just don't care anymore. It is just white noise at this point.
I think it is funny that any Jets player would talk crap after barely beating a bad Bucs team, but that is the way Rex Ryan runs the team - at least until he is fired after the season.
Absolutely unreal. Way to make your own news, PFT.
Why? Because you made it news by acting like the Patriots are only not practicing because its the Jets?

Yes but the Patriots are just arrogant and don't take the rest of the NFL seriously.funny thing is a lot of commentors bought into it. And the jets are doing the same thing
Rex Ryan: Haven't seen New England Patriots run like that - ESPN Boston
Adopting a similar practice schedule to the Patriots with walkthroughs: "We'll have a little bit more than that but not much. It's about just getting through with a game and keeping your players fresh. Obviously they have to mentally be focused."
Yeah, 4 catches for 38 yards from a TE is surely a sign of terrible coverage.this is how a jets fan talks
the game is by no means a given.......smith can give the pats problems, and the way mayo covered (or not) chandler, winslow jr. could be in for a big day
I still like the pats because the jets can't run the ball to save their lives, but this game is not going to be easy....there's much in flux with the pats right now
Wrong.
Our OL is superior to theirs (with Mangold out).
Our RB's are FAR superior to theirs (even without Vereen).
Our QB is Faaaaaar superior to the rookie who has only 3 days to prepare for a game.
The Jets are not "healthy". Their best WR Kerley is out with a concussion and Mangold is out.
Do the Pats have roster injury "challenges" right now? You bet. There are 30 teams in the NFL that could beat them with Amendola, Dobson, Sudfeld, Gronkowski and Vereen out injured right now.
Then there are the Jets.
Yeah, 4 catches for 38 yards from a TE is surely a sign of terrible coverage.
I love how we expect the other team to never be able to make a single play, and when they do we suck.
Rex is backing it up......now it is officially a joke
The Blitz with Jeff Howe & Karen Guregian | Boston Herald
Yeah, the quote was definitely taken somewhat out of context. The interviewers said "When we talk to you next week, are you guys gonna be 2 and 0?". Wilk paused and replied "Yeah, we're gonna be 2 and 0." What else do you expect the guy to say?
I read the transcript expecting to laugh but didn't.
Ryan didn't say anything offensive or moronic and speaks sense when he says he expects and prepares as if he is going to win.
I am actually surprised that he thinks TB is the best (after how he trashed him a few seasons back) and believe that he respects us.
I would love to him as our DC.
what personal foul?? Gee-NO!'s feet were in bounds when he was hit....there are pics of it all over the net. They were gifted a shot they didn't deserve. Crap happens.
