Great post, gomezcat.

Perhaps (gender aside, of course) Mr. Casale's diatribe was more intended for people like me, who currently AREN'T working, and who keep clicking back on this board as sort of a comfort. Of course, I challenge him to tell me, heavily pregnant, in a great deal of pain (hip and joint) and prone to hormonal rages, that I must be a loser without a life or a family to my face. The experience would be an unpleasant one for him. I guarantee I'd get a great deal of enjoyment out of it, however.

Football is a source of relaxation (actually that may be the wrong word) now more than ever. I'm not myself. I feel awful and resemble a turkey in sneakers. I'm not used to being in pain or not being able to run. I'm DEFINITELY not used to carrying around another human being. So excuse me, Mr. Casale, if I wish to avoid the you're-having-a-baby-bombardment I experience every walking hour I'm not on this board. The horror stories. All the preachy people who tell you what you're doing wrong and how horrible your life is going to be from now on. The information overload. I like a break. I love football. I hang out on this board. It's that simple.

I would pay to see that.

You know Bella*chick, you've been in my basement so long I'm going to start charging you rent.

ROFLMAO! I noticed that. When do squatter's rights kick in, I wonder. Do I have an easement? I wish I remembered more from my Property Law class....

Alright you can stay, but I'm not getting up for any feedings in the middle of the night, I've already been through that 4 times.

Hey, don't you two have an intercom system in that house?

I just listen for the roar of the crowd and I know exactly where to find them.

Can I ask what the big frickin' deal is with this?

Yes you can.

That's a small price to pay for bringing a future Patriots All Pro QB into this world.:rocker:

So this Casale guys mentions the Jackson thing at the Gala, fans here on this site call him a rumor mongerer, then he hits back and people are upset? Am I missing something here? How is this kidnapping the Lindbergh baby?

Hmmm, well, nowhere have I seen Charles Lindbergh or his baby mentioned, so I'll go ahead and say, no, it has nothing to do with the Lindbergh baby.

I gather you think we should all chill out and it's no big deal. Well, when he "hit back" he insulted a few people. Gomezcat started this thread, and we are all in here having some conversation about it. That's all.

Is that OK with you? (caveat: even if it's not, it doesn't really matter. If you are allowed to give your opinion freely about Charlie Weis, then surely this is allowed as well, as no board rules are being broken.)

Some detective work might lead you to a thread on the topic on the second page, at least two individuals have commented on it being a worthwhile, if lengthy, read.

I started to read it and quickly became bored with it. Sounds kind of childish on both sides to me.

There you go then, now you can focus on mature pursuits and let the children play in the backyard.

Im not trying to be crass or insulting, I'm just curious if I'm missing something here. It seems pretty minor, but again, I could be missing something.

Didn't think you were, it's blowing over so that makes it a two day wonder, entertaining from some and puzzling for you. I usually just shrug and move on when I reach that point, to my knowledge there has been some effort at making peace and the forum has earned a soon to be beloved nickname, that puts things pretty much back to normal. Why else is there a sit Wilson, start Hawkins thread running? SNAFU.

Shmessy was more concerned about Casale starting a rumor about Chad Jackson which may or may not be true because he didn't reveal all the infromation. When Tomase wrote his story about what had actually happened it really wasn't that big of a deal. I agree with Shmessy that he shouldn't have let the little tid-bit out there, leaving it out there making people draw their own concslusions.

He was less concerned about him taking a shot at this website.

Then when "alisonlovesbrady" was created by whomever, that other thread really took off.

There's more to it than that.

My sister just called me this morning, giddy with excitement. She's a few days late with a big 9.5 lb. baby that never 'dropped', so the doctor is going to do a C section. I mean, she is estatic to get the babe the heck outta there, let me tell you. No labor, no waiting around. C-section!
