Not wanting Deus Irae's post to get lost in the BJGE thread :
We all know we want to continue to get younger and faster on defense. But what other moves do you like ?
I really like Morris and Jordan. I'd see if Shanahan still likes Maroney and trade him there for a conditional 2010 pick if Shanahan still likes him. And I'd sign another Jordan/Morris type along with re-signing Jordan. Those three, BJGE and Faulk works for me.
I would see if we could trade Watson to KC for Tony Gonzalez. Could be a win-win.
Definitely agree on upgrading Gaffney. He's OK but he'd be a great #4 WR. Personally I'd like Stallworth back and he'll be a UFA again more than likely - but that ship seems to have sailed. Torry Holt would work for me.
I'd also like an upgrade on the OL although Neal finally stayed healthy, for the most part, once he returned and Kaczur was better than I expected.
Deus Irae said:What's far more interesting to me, but will never be known, is that question of what sort of numbers Maroney could have put up behind that line if he'd been healthy this season. Belichick's opinion of what that question's answer would ahve been will very likely be the deciding factor in whether or not LoMo is back this year. I'm looking at RB and TE to be the two positions with the greatest likelihood of a 'big' move made, along with the team looking for an upgrade over Gaffney.
