Pats are 6-0. Except when playing each other, the other 3 teams are 0-13 (they will have to get 6 wins against each other, assuming no ties).

Has anyone seen stats or remember a division like this?

I recall a few years back, the Eagles clinched the NFC East in something like week 12 and I thought that was ridiculous. It might now be mathematically possible for the Pats to clinch in Week 9, and week 10 is in the realm of reasonable possibility.

It's theoretivally possible for a team to clinch a division in week 8 but it would take bizarre scheduling to do it.

(I still believe in one game at a time and not taking any team lightly, but these are more like math games.)

AFC east has 4 wins outside division -- all Pats.

The NFC west this year has no one dominant team and a total of 3 wins outside the division for the entire division. That 49er pick is looking better and better.

AFC South is 11-2 outside the division.
