I am not saying it was a bad decision but I will miss Hobbs here. He never complained and he was a gamer.

I voted for the loss of Vrabel. I see his leadership as a major gap that will need filled on that defense.

I hope Shawn Crable is up to the task...

EDIT: Jerod Mayo began to emerge as a leader in the middle of the defense last year and don't forget that we still have Bru as a veteran leader. Not to mention that we still have two guys by the name of Bill Belichick and Tom Brady leading the way. To put it simply: I don't think leadership is going to be a problem.

I realize you guys still got a boat load of talent on the team, but for some reason it was always Vrabel that seemed to be the glue. You guys have quite a nice group of young linebackers for sure, but I see Vrabel as being your Farrior. The quiet leader. We've gotten rid of Haggens, Foote, and Porter since the XL Super Bowl, but Farrior has been the Rock in the middle. Maybe Bru is really that guy on your side and Vrabel is your Foote, that's very possible.

I have to admit, Buschi is a freaking monster, can't believe that guy is still going.

You only like Vrabel so much because of his history.

For me the most disappointing thing this offseason was the lack of a White House visit by the Patriots team & coaches.

So maybe James Harrison was right after all.

i voted other cuz i do think the worst thing to happen was Scott Pioli leaving to KC.. I think thats what could hurt us more then anything down the road.. probably not since we still have BB makin the calls but if anything does hurt us in the future it would be Pioli no longer in charge of personel and scouting...

An addendum: The retirement of Rodney Harrison.
