Only real surprise so far is that the early cut could mean they don’t even see Roberts as a PS candidate.

With the Keystone Kops type of football that's played these days in the first 2-4 regular season games I think it's better to sit Maye until things settle some, esp. in the OL. He'll have enough on his hands trying to get the real game to slow down for him that he doesn't need to be exposed while everyone else (incl coaches) are trying to do the same.

Kyles also saying what I was saying last night. Not as bad as people were feeling. Issues mostly with center and other stuff that aren't long term problems. Robinson needs some improvement in pass protection but is a good run blocker. Not sure if he will be a starter, anyway. They aren't the absolute dumpster fire they're made out to be today. Might even add players over next couple days.

I watched a bunch back this morning. Leverett actually played relatively well, he just couldn't handle John Ridgeway, who honestly gave everyone trouble while he was in there last night.

I don't know the context but Baringer was a beast this preseason, so I wonder if that helped them at all.

You are hoping Vederian Lowe will return to improve the OL, we will pick up castoffs on the waiver wire, and you say that it is not as bas as people are feeling? Do you remember two weeks ago when people were aghast that Lowe would be our LT starter after Wolf assured us that Lowe was great? Now you think Lowe is an improvement? Guys on the waiver wire are available because another team has a half dozen better players. I think your expectations have hit rock bottom so everything looks great. Some of us expect a professionally run organization.

I thought the special teams were good. BB was supposed to be a ST guru, but we have had better ST play this year.
