What is the Arizona's D coordinator doing? Why can't he decode the niners?
When Moss catches the ball, he scores a touchdown, so all he has to have his guys do is cover Moss and don't forget about Crabtree as well.

Very nice to see Moss get a TD and look like vintage 90's Moss. That now puts him in a tie with TO for 2nd all-time in receiving TDs and 4th in overall TDs. I really hope he passes TO.

My thinking is they believe they need 3 TD's and a FG to tie the game, so they may as well take the FG now. Yes, I know that it is technically possible to tie with 3 TD's, but converting 3 of 3 two-pointers is highly unlikely.

Bottom line is that when you have the QB AZ has and you're trailing by 24 to one of the best defenses in the league, there really aren't any right choices.

Arizona Blows with Skelton. They obviously have no faith in him or the offense. They had to go for the first 4th and 2 to at least get into field goal range, they need points. That said, I think at this stage they NEED 7. Even though Skelton blows, you have to take the risk and go for 7 rather than settle for 3. It's the 4th quarter down 24 to a tough defense and an offense you haven't been able to stop. You can't settle for 3 points. Odds are already WAY against you, you have to gamble.

I'm not sure Skelton could move the ball downfield if he was playing 11 on 7. He just can't make the throws.

(some of you guys probably are too young to remember Red Skelton....my grandfather used to watch all his shows...over and over) Anyways 9'era look really good right now...even Randy Moss got a Td ...he looked like the old Randy out there....they will b tough to beat
