They should change the rule so that receivers can't get PI if they are coming back towards the ball and get super strict on defenders pulling or grabbing when chasing. That would simplify things.

Why else would next week be flexed out for the only half way meaningful garbage nfc game? The nfl can ref it's way into a fifth patriots loss and make an otherwise meaningless buffalo game meaningful, along with two or three otherwise meaningless afc games to top off the season.
