So you do not think a guy who paid his debt to society should get a second chance?[/SIZE]
So imagine if he'd done the same thing he did to those dogs to people? Would we be only a bit more outraged, and a bit less forgiving?
He's paid his debt to "society" but never will be able to the dogs and people that were harmed by him.
I don't mind him getting a second chance, but just not in a position that puts him in the limelight as a potential celebrity. Let him find another line of work and have a second chance from that position in society.
For what it's worth, the latest research indicates that dogs experience emotion at about 80% of the depth that people do. So imagine if he'd done the same thing he did to those dogs to people? Would we be only a bit more outraged, and a bit less forgiving?
