Can’t believe none of my buddies from home called to tell me that our high school gym teacher would be doing commentary tonight

She's rough but better than Romo. Romos shtick was cool for one season but after week 1 I'm already annoyed by his whole "Give the play away and drop an 'Oooo I don't know!' or 'Oh man!' every other play" routine
Romo is far and away the best analyst in football. She is closer to Fouts than Romo.

Idk if it was a national broadcast, or not but, Bruce Arians on that Steeler game this week was absolutely insufferable! Complete schill.

wtf does Patricia think he's doing playing Tavon Wilson as a deep safety. and Tavon Wilson, biting again shades of 2012 Seahawks and Rams game although different route same problem. At least the old Lions DC was smart enough to play Wilson closer to the box which is where he belongs.

He's garbage as a free safety and he's going to give that rookie QB the belief that he can play pro football like he gave Russell Wilson the belief he can play pro football.

Hate to say it, but Darnold is talented and hell and looks extremely poised. He has those weird mental blackouts like what we saw on the pick-six--regularly had them last year too--but in pretty much every other respect he's the real deal. I hope he never outgrows that and it becomes a career-plaguing thing.

Threw a lot of picks at the college though. You’d think he’d have a LOT in the NFL?

I'm not buying any of this. We have one half, against a first time HC who's in over his head, playing against a suspect D at best. Not to mention their best DB is out. This Darnold ball washing, is pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, I think he will, hence the second part of my post. I live in USC territory, watched a lot of his games. Throws a lot of picks, fumbles a lot. You saw a perfect example of that on his pick six tonight, he just does that a couple times per game. The rest of the time he looks great though, it's really weird. Kinda reminds me of Philip Rivers.

Where is Sergio Dipp?

Regards,
Chris

Is that who that was? I watched the end of reg and OT and they TV crew was ****ing awful, didn’t even realize

Mowins is a combination auctioneer/rodeo announcer.

Gotta wonder if you can win that way with so many turnovers.

None of which had any affect on him perfectly placing a 40 yard back shoulder pass on the sideline. That throw beats any coverage. He's also moving extremely well in the pocket, and seems to have a solid understanding of how quickly he has to get the ball out to avoid the rush. This is all unusual for a 21 year old making his first start.
