I understand the urge to slam Meriweather. I cannot stand watching him play, I hate hearing him on WEEI, I'm not surprised when I hear he's late for meetings and I still weep that we didn't package a 3rd rounder to move up for Revis back in the draft where we took #31. That said, he's probably not as bad as I think, but he's surely not as blameless as some here seem to insist. That was a HORRIBLE angle -- again, again, AGAIN -- tonight, in a big spot, and the INT that wasn't, through no fault of his own, was an effing GIMME. I'm not giving the guy too much credit for that.

I like Meriweather, but not sure he is a huge upgrade over Chung/Sanders.

I agree. If we can get him to sign for lowish bank next year, fine. Otherwise, I say let him walk. Don't hate him like some, but I sure as hell did tonight. Infuriatingly bad angles.
