A caller called into Beetle and Zo this morning and said he ran into Andrews at a hotel in Miami and said that Andrews told him that he was being cut. Now of course it could be BS. I don't think he is the same guy who posted the original rumor in the OP because he claimed he had no blue checkmark.

Again, it is probably BS and someone pushing this rumor, but I figured I would pass it along.

I don't know why we would get rid of one of the few good IOL we have and a team captain unless he is retiring.

He is 34 coming off a major injury. And he wasn't playing all that well before he was injured.

Other than that Mrs Lincoln his did you like the play?

Don’t shoot the messenger. I don’t know who this guy is, but he does have 15k followers. But he claims to have inside sources.

The dude should be given the opportunity - and has Earned the right - to compete for his job. Releasing him before he's given that opportunity would be ********, and the money saved minuscule.

I dunno. He was pretty bad last year before he got hurt - maybe he should have been competing for his job.

At this rate he could be our #1 WR - hold on to him if that doesn’t work to backup our new Center - “Strange-r" things could happen….

I would guess that based on the situation (age, injury etc.) this guy took a shot in the dark, so if he is right he can say 'I told you so'.

I can see a Tedy Bruschi situation where they let him come to camp but if he can't win starting spot then he retires and they dress it up as a mutual thing.
That seems most ideal. This is a second consecutive transition in two years for an organization that was so steady for over two decades. It would be nice to have a guy like Andrews around at the facility, camp, etc from now to closer to the start of the season amidst all the shuffle.

it is 5mill, I dont consider that miniscule.

They had a good opportunity last year to draft and groom a replacement. They have another one this year but it looks like the groom isn’t gonna be there this time. I really hope it’s not Strange. No offense to his fans or Strange himself, but I highly doubt the guys ability to play any position on the oline at a high level.

Actually happening, per Reiss. Not sure if we need a new thread or just update this title here.

Any centers still on the market? Or is our solution in house?

This creates another hole on the line, although in reality it was unlikely we would me able to count on Andrews to stay healthy anyways.

Cardona final Patriot left who has played in a SB (Bentley also has a ring but was on IR).

Hell of a career for Andrews, he will be missed. His red jacket awaits.
