Not for nothing, but after listening to the debate on whether Boutte is a "possession" receiver or not caused me to think about what exactly a "possession receiver" actually is. Here is my definition, not that it matters in the great scheme of things.
A possession WR is a guy who gets to a spot and is good at catching contested balls. There isn't a lot of separation and very little YAC. He's a guy who you can count on to catch a high percentage of accurate targets. And THAT, of course, is a perfect description of on Keyshon Boutte. I don't think him having a higher YPC makes him something else. I think if you check his yards AFTER the catch you would find that to be on the lower end of perimeter WR's. Just sayin'
