Re: Childress Playing mind games with Belichick?

I was going to post the Big Chill plays Tidally Winks you don't need much of a mind to play that. But i'm not sure how many people would know what Tidally Winks was.
I'm old enough to know.

Re: Childress Playing mind games with Belichick?

I think the most advanced mindgame Childress is capable of playing with anyone is playing Tick Tack Toe and not taking the center square with his first pick. I don't think Childress is mentally capable to fake out Belichick in a game of Simon Says.

How about both. He has played pretty poorly and he is banged up pretty bad.

Could be. But I think it's an interesting question of whether Chilly has the cajones to sit Favre down for performance. Even on the injury, does the coach have the sack to sit Favre down for the good of the team, even if Favre says he's good to go?

I think Childress plays "Brett Says" hes not familiar with Simon Says

A battle of wits is less entertaining when one side is unarmed.

Tavaris is a running QB...... and if he is on in both categories

then

God Help Us

this is bad news

I bet he has a career day.

That's not saying much, considering the career he's had to date. We will crush either Jackson or Brett Minidick like an eggshell. WE WILL DRIVE THEM BEFORE US AND HEAR THE LAMENTATIONS OF THEIR WOMEN!!!:rocker::rocker::rocker:

i would like brett to start only to give him another loss and beat him up a bit more

but if jackson does start, im not worried, this is not the same D were used to with scrambling QB's, its faster, which in this case makes all the difference, plus jackson is riding the pine for a reason, if he starts, hell give us gifts just like favre did

I'm old enough, unfortunately a number of my friends are not. I tried to say its similar to Ants in the Pants, but they didn't get that either.

Sigh...

Don't start imagining things. What is Mike Vick's record against Belichick teams?

PLEASE, man. If he was THAT good and skury then he would be a lock at QB and would have since game one.

If the Lord wants to start, the Lord's starting.

hahah lord favrequad! I bet he starts, using somekind of support. I'm still not convinced he's out till Sunday comes.

You mean the guy benched in favor of Gus Frerotte, who was then benched in favor of Favre? That year of seasoning on the bench behind Favre in 2009 with 21 throws from the bench has probably transformed him into Michael Vick.

This isn't a guy playing in a different system with unpredictable results - there are 4 years of film on him playing for the Vikings to explain his 58% accuracy and 77 rating. With his career numbers, he isn't likely to be "on" in either category. Back-up boy just trades arm strength for a little mobility.

I think Chilly just blurs out whatever he is thinking at the time. I'm not sure if Chilly is capable of playing mind games....afterall we are talking about a guy who say's stupid things at the wrong time. For example: comments about Patriots signals stealing this week; Love boat comments when they drafted Percy Harvin; comments about his conversation with BB when they claimed Garret Mills......

What are the chances Favre starts to maintain his record, but comes out nearly straight away?

Didn't that happen in 2007? He started, but then Rodgers came in nearly straight away?

They didn't play in 2007. If you are thinking of 2006, the Pats D pummeled the Packers. Favre started and got knocked out with a separated shoulder (I believe that was the injury). Rodgers then got blasted after only limited play and broke his foot (IR). Favre then returned and finished the game.

I think there is a pretty good chance of this happening. Let Lord Favre go in for one series, so he maintains his streak and doesn't do too much damage (either to himself or the Vikes' chances of winning the game), then put Jackson in. The problem for the Vikes, of course, is that they will have to play out that scenario every week until they decide to dethrown their king publically. It also gives them the chance, if Jackson stinks up the joint, to say they were just letting Favre rest his injured foot, and to put Favre back in next week. If Jackson plays well, it will be easier to sit Favre for real starting next week.

I guess winning or losing the game is secondary to the Vikings then.
