One to remember and see how he does on another team

Too bad. The Pats are so hit and miss developing LBs. Many guys take too long to develop too. I am a little worried that the Pats end up regretting not developing McGrone faster.

I had high hopes for McGrone but the guy looked pretty lost and unsure of himself when I saw him play in the preseason. He jumped out at me with how poorly he played.

Maybe he figures things out but I have a hard time getting too bummed about this given how bad (and genuinely lost on the field) he looked. With the issues they’ve had at ILB, if there was any glimpse of potential from McGrone I have to think he would’ve gotten a game-day elevation by now.

Damnit
Thank God I didn’t buy that auto McGrone jersey yesterday om
Not even kidding.
The auction was at like 49.00

So much hype for him over the summer and it didn't pan out. He looked lost in the preseason and didn't look like the explosive athlete he was billed to be by the local media.

Here come the people that will say "should have taken Lloyd or Dean". Meanwhile Lloyd was suppose to be a plug n play, speedy coverage guy and he's only allowed 65 rec and 700 yards and Dean has played 35 snaps

Another wasted draft pick

Groh told us this dude was like having an extra rookie pick this season. Coaches were excited about his contributions. Not surprising though in this magnificant season.

Not only that, but if McGrone would've played this season, we win 2 or 3 more games and be 9-5 or 10-4.

Hey we still have Ronnie Perkins.

He’s pry a better punter than Palardy he will be missed.

He was a 5th round pick. The hype around him was unwarranted.

Uche has 10.5 sacks and will get a few more in the next few weeks. Let's be happy Bill finally got a real productive LB since Jamie Collins in 2015 which was a long time ago.

How will we replace his production?

He needed another year to heal up, and get that on the field action. I’m really disappointed with this development.

"oh muh groin!!"

He did get an elevation. Scored a td against Arizona. They then reverted him back to the PS. Maybe they hoped not too many teams noticed him rumbling into the endzone.

aren’t we given the option to elevate him before colts offered a contract?
