Good news for anyone hoping they'd finally improve that situation:

It's 2025...sort of surprised this hasn't happened long before now and that they haven't made it more of a point of emphasis on the upgrades, given everything else that has been built there, Patriot Place, the team's Hall of Fame, etc.

The MBTA building something in just one year? Will miracles never cease? A simple platform would take them at least ten years.

They're still running 70 year old locomotives on the commuter lines and I'm pretty sure they keep a steam engine somewhere for a backup.

it should have been done 25 years ago, when the planning of Gillette Stadium was getting started... it could have easily been folded into the infrastructure improvements the State made to the area at the time... pretty ridiculous that its only being done now...

I foresee a no bid contract due to the short timeline, I'm sure the donations to Healy from the contractors are piling up now. MBTA couldn't install a toilet in less than 12 months, No way they make a new station! Just lining up a good reason to gift out another no bid contract to a crony!

Of course, they should have built a better station at Foxboro by now, maybe this upgrade will be done before Maye retires.

Let me see if I have this right. While the MBTA has Natick waiting for 5 years for a renovation, their going to start and complete a new station for Foxboro. That seems fair.

Whatever happened to Keolis? Are they still involved with the MBTA?

It's only about 25 years overdue....

And then the dipshits that run this state wonder why more people don't take public transportation....

Scumbags.
Everyone here knows it.

Oh to have decent public transportation must be nice. Especially if it drops you near the stadium. FL is such a joke when it comes to public transit where it would actually be very useful. But hey, at least you can use the sun rail to go places I would never want to, M-F….dont get me started on the busses.
