Also, who is she mad at here? Kraft came out and literally said it's all his fault and said Jerod is awesome and he believes in him and that he will be a great head coach one day but it wasn't a fit right now, and that his failure was Kraft's fault. He owned it fully and complimented Mayo heavily and didn't rag on him at all. What else was he supposed to do? The only people who are dumping on the guy are coaches and players speaking anonymously to reporters. She's gonna go on an instragram war against nameless faceless anonymous sources? Good luck with that.

Never liked him as a player being over drafted just because Detroit may have wanted him. He looked very slow for running a 4.5. I’ve never seen a guy have so many tackles, yet so little impact on the game.

Then we have him as a coach where the media and fans criticized the LB’s for years, only to get a HC job right after Bill was fired.

The most unwarranted path to a HC I’ve ever seen.

I'll come clean: All offseason/camp/preseason and even the early weeks I thought @Real fan 02 was Mayo or related to him.

He spun a perfect 180 on Mayo at some point (the bad jete game) so I stopped thinking that and went back to assuming he's PF2's alter ego on a vpn.
Hey.. it's said everyone has a twin! .. @Ian already debunked that PF2 and I aren't the same. LMAO

the white devil

Maybe but the last game kinda nullifies that
What if Mayo claims Kraft said something like a win isn’t important here, or it’s not in the best interest of the team that we come out with a W.

That would be damning.

And that’s what she’s mad about. There are things we could all see and understand about his being fired. But it’s the specific stories that look really bad which she’s upset about:

- the cards on the plane story
- the Steve Belichick story
- the “he’d ask for your opinion, and then spend 5 minutes explaining why you’re wrong” story

All the big picture items we could see are true, but these types of specific items could easily be hit-pieces that Kraft outsourced to the ghost of Larry Lucchino to get written. Or not. But I’m sure that’s what she’s getting at, and the types of specific items they’re defending to their friends and family in discussions.

Plus any chances he will be a HC or even DC anytime soon.

How do you defend these stories? "Nuh uh! I didn't do that".

Don't really care. Bunch of whiners, move on
But everyone is glad to hear about how Mayo is solely responsible for everything and he is the worst coach in NFL history. I'd like to hear what they have to say.

She's right, they've been quiet, attempting to take the high road and yet the snakes have been happy to anonymously strike at his character. He should give his side to things.

its crazy, isn't it... I went to look for a few big plays to post the in appreciation thread... there were really no big plays... some nice hits, etc... but nothing outstanding... maybe the near sack in XXVIII2III?

I think the cards-at-the-back-of-the-plane thing is what struck a cord with her

I noticed posters comparing the two, but I didn’t see the connection.

This feels a bit like being given advance notice of an inevitable train wreck. All we can do as responsible adults is decide whether or not too watch.

So when is it and where will the best seats be ?
