Everyone else understands that teams go through ups and downs.I really don't think most fans that feel this way realize how ugly this is going to get if/when they start losing games due to poor offensive line play, or poor WR play, or poor QB play. The team has alienated itself from the fan base, and this could get VERY ugly very quickly.
Keep working hard Drake your time will come soon.
Andrew Luck, RGIII. You can **** up a career by putting them behind a line this bad before they are ready to handle it. And this line is worse than those, they can't even snap the ball consistently. If they don’t play him because they are afraid he will get injured this organization is in the wrong hands.
It sure looks that way, doesn't it? It's been a circus and if/when they don't win, they are going to get absolutely hammered by the media and fans. This dweeb is in over his head. He's constantly stuck his foot in his mouth from the jump all the way back starting with his introduction as the coach.
What's worse is is that we're about to be historically bad and it isn't even going to cost him or anyone else their job.
Kraft must of really hated Bill.
I think he hated paying BB 25Mill a year after Brady left. This dweeb is in over his head. He's constantly stuck his foot in his mouth from the jump all the way back starting with his introduction as the coach.

The only talking Peppers will be doing is when he’s telling the other team “you lucky we ass.”When will JB be pulled? 0-3? 0-4? Because I'll say.. Peppers and the guys on defense will go right to Mayo and put the pressure on him..

Brady won a SB his first year as a starter. Mahones his second. Both won 3 within their first 6 years as starters after sitting a season. Joe Montana also only started one game his freshmen season and won a Super Bowl his second year as the full time starter. There are plenty of QBs who started right away and waited but sooner or later won SBs. Whether a QB starts right away or sits it takes him time to learn. If sitting is such a help why is every other rookie QB this year starting, even on teams who were worse than the Pats last year?
Hut our O-line will sleep better knowing they don't have to protect the “franchise”….That's what pisses me off we'll Never see the true potential of Tquan T now because we have QB who's scared and can't throw it deep accurately.
I think 1 key. If he gets to the point he can recognize the rush and get out of trouble with his brain, then he's ready mentally. Or academically, as I said earlier.This.
1. Is Maye ready
2. Is the line competent enough to not get him killed.
Then you start him. The record is incidental this year. Maye or no Maye is not getting a playoff spot with this team
It's a never a good idea to piss off the guy that cuts your checks. Even if you can make a power play early on there's always the potential to ditch you. There will be solid HC candidates on the market next year and it will be very easy to ditch Mayo for someone else. Here is what you do if you are Mayo:
You tell Elliot Wolf, AVP, Bob Kraft, Robin Glazer, Johnathan Kraft, and whoever else wants to meddle that you are starting Maye and if they don't like it, they can fire you.
You've got all the leverage because the Patriots are NOT going to make themselves look like fools by firing a head coach that wants to play the best player.
But Mayo left his balls in Robin Glazer's purse instead.
I remember a couple of QBs who sat year one and it worked out ok.
Neither one of those guys are sitting behind Jacoby.
I think this is the crux. When we're losing and the fans start chanting for Maye, we'll see how Mayo responds.
One thing that hasn't been talked about is that we know the team is prepared to lose games this year. But how many? I think Mayo survives a 4-13 season. I think he survives a 2-15 season. If we go 0-17, Mayo might be out. He's got to know his own leash only goes so far.
Never said that. But it's nice knowing you can dish it but can't take it lolLet the record show that @lancerman thinks Patrick and Tommy would sit behind Jacoby.
