Maye must play

Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. What could go wrong against a soft D like the Niners.
Well by that logic every defense we face will be an issue. When you don't have an O line that is what happens. So if it not a disaster now I don't know what u will call it when maye takes over.

I really think coach is going to use the Jets game to gadge when he believes there need to be a change. If we put up another 120 pass game.. I anticipate Drake starting at SF. What you think?
you want drake mayes first start to be on the left coast, with a busted up ol, facing down vs nick bosa, javon hargrave, fred warner and charvarious ward?

Oh not ideal at all pape.. I was just summizing.. as much as want him to play.. I can continue to wait.. this O line has gone from bad to worse.. how many 120 yards passing games will we see?

Game 5 still seems a decent alternative.

Your right... seems like we can't beat Miami with Tua anyway. Curran seems to anticipate a change coming soon.. he was saying today that a combination of poor o line play and just not able to get the ball to WR's is what will warrant it.. if not for injury.. I personally don't think Brissett has done that bad to warrant it.. however it's a production based business..

Curran is pretty plugged in these days. He knew Mayo and Wolf before Bill was out the door.

Yes, also he was pretty close with Bill as the 2 vacationed together over the years... this day and age in the NFL the rules changes and everything geared to scoring points.. it's very hard not to score. Even for the most challenged teams like us.. I just wonder how many more 120 passing games will it take?

I just think they knew what they were getting with Brissette and they shouldn't be surprised by this. They were in position to win a few times on Sunday, so I don't think Brissette is as close to losing his job as you are. I think they are trying to stay committed to him as long as it takes to get Maye ready.

We are playing some banged up Teams we are not going to be the favorites but we could be in those games until the end anything can happen. 49ers no Deebo or McCaffrey: Miami no Tua I wonder if we're looking ahead Hmmm.

Yes. It's not so much I'm ready to move on.. It's what's mayo thinking.. how many 120 passing yard games is it going to take. I get it It's not all Brissett fault.. but maye isn't taking 30% of the snaps to not be primed to take over... I lean more on what Curran reported. It's imminent.

Brother Mac had 192 pass yards a game last season ... JB average 120..

Excuse Me??????

Didn't anyone here notice the demotion of the Panther, former #1 pick, after just 2 games? I mean I wouldn't have picked him #1 myself, but he was a legit first round pick and one of the top 5 QBs in that draft. Well don't you think the beating he took all last year had an effect on him. His career as a starting NFL QB is very much in doubt now. How has this year's #1 pick done so far, and he was far more prepared to start in his first year than Drake is. I'm not saying Caleb is going to be a bust, I'm just using him as an example of just how hard it is to succeed as a rookie QB making the jump from college to the NFL. And Williams has a FAR better line up to succeed with than Drake has here, at the moment. Now I'm not advocating sitting him for the ENTIRE year, but I'd rather not see him in, at least, the first half of the season. Beginning of November at the earliest.

C'mon man... Bryce was only sacked 62 times last year, and Caleb's on pace for 77 sacks this year. They're still alive, so Nietzsche's like, "Was mich nicht umbringt, macht mich stärker!!" And... their stock will rise HIGH!

Well, I'd be shocked if Tua is back playing then.

He's out for until week 8... I'll say I know it's early.. but the landscape of the entire league isn't shaping like I thought.. no team looks unbeatable.. we have a shot.. as long as we play smart, tough ,mistake free ball.

Terrible owner, a coach that looks like a deer in the headlights.. outside of leggett they traded away thier best player to giants. Bryce was destined for failure.

You can't say that without acknowledging that Mac was a turnover machine. That's part of the passing game.
Oh... trust me in no way defending mac.. Just pointing out he at least averaged more pass yards. Point blank our pass game needs to get up to at least NFL standards. Brissett is capable but his tackles can't play in the NFL.
