I agree with Belichick on this one. Being pampered indoors at 31 degrees is comfortable compared to outdoors with wind. It's NE, you have to have the toughness and mindset to not be bothered by cold weather and be used to it.

My brother moved to Florida 40 years ago. I remember calling him once at Christmas time, thinking that he'd be missing the snow and I could get in a shot or two. His quick response to me was "yeah, I hate Christmas shopping in shorts." That was the last time I tried that one on him.

I still wear shorts in NH during the winter... Had some people look at me funny going into Starbucks the other day below freezing in shorts. Yesterday people were crying about getting their mail in sub-zero temperatures, yawn. I hiked in the whites, -11 when I started. It's NE, you should embrace the cold!
