I remember when I lived in Fort Myers, one time it went down to about 40-45. Chilly, wet, rain.

The local 7-11 passed out free hot chocolate to anyone who walked inside. Needless to say, I was quite surprised. The overreaction was amazing. You'd have thought it was the end of the world.

However cold its going to be on Saturday, it won't come close the cold and wind that playoff game against the Titans in 2003 (IIRC). That was you can't feel your feet at the end of the game cold....and that's the players.

no reason for players to get sick just two days before the game its crazy cold outside and they are a cold weather team that plays out doors are well so a few days inside wont affect them as much as a dome or hot weather team

By the way, for those of you not in Massachusetts, believe me, it is freaking COLD outside. I don't mean `don't forget your coat` cold. I'm talking chill you to the bone cold. I got a coffee this morning and I needed to put it in the microwave as soon as I got home, 5 minutes later, just from walking to my car and driving back.

It's been like this all week, honestly. Practicing in this stuff is hardcore.

January is the coldest, darkest, dreariest month of the year. The worst month of the year. No more Christmas fun, just freeze your ass off. I've always said the Pats being in the playoffs year after year has always been the thing that has made January bearable.

Especially when they extend it to February!

That's a clear misuse of Giorgio Tsoukalos! You should check out some of his stuff sometime. He doesn't say that there were definitely aliens on Earth. The foundation of his beliefs is that ancient humans, across the globe, left evidence of achievement that go far beyond what we can explain today. He doesn't know how early man achieved some of these wonders, but offers up the possibility that alien technology may have played a part.
