Maybe not pats related any more but diggs ended up not guilty

any possibility Diggs is AJB leverage or fall back if the Eagles want too much?

I would not picking back up on the cheap he was not bad and would be a good mentor

Wolf hinted that Diggs coming back was a possibility.

Now that the legal stuff is out of the way, teams can sign him without having to worry about his not being available.

Not sure how he'd mesh with Doubs compared to Brown but I would take Diggs + not give up a future #1 over Brown any day.
If Diggs was re-signed, he'd probably be used purely as a slot guy at this point and the Pats would likely move on from Douglas. Either trading him or cutting him.

Re-watching games from last year, I was once again knocked out by how good Diggs was (as, indeed, were Hollins, Boutte and Douglas (when properly used)). His ability to make clutch catches under pressure for third downs was exceptional.

In the final few games when our offense was sputtering, it wasn't our WRs that were the problem: Diggs was fine. I'd love to see him back here.

One definitely has to ask the question as to why they continued going with Wilson when Brown showed to be the better player in the few games that he subbed in for Wilson. And, if Brown wasn't the better player, why keep him and jettison Bradbury.

X: Brown
Z: Doubs
Slot: Diggs

Heck yeah

I watched the trial. It was one of the worst prosecutions I have ever seen. No fault of the prosecutor, mind you, just that the alleged victim was absolutely atrocious. She got caught lying, she was belligerent, evasive....

Not necessarily, but in this case probably.

So this was some skank who wanted a bag basically

This doesn't mean he didn't do, but it was pretty obvious from day 1 that this chef didn't have a case.

He'd probably be cheaper than Brown, we know what he can do, and it wouldn't cost draft capital. It's not a great idea, in my judgment, but if it'll get the silly fan boys to pipe down about AJ, do it.

Never wanted him gone but understood with the possibility of not having him for 4 games but now I really would love to have him back. Besides his exceptional play, loved the edge and leadership that he brought.
