Matt Judon: Best Defensive Signing Since Gilmore/Harrison

Thomas was just an example of guys leaving for big contracts.

He was a home run in NE until he broke his arm in 2008. He said he didn’t agree with how they wanted to use him in 2009 and felt he was being “overcoached”. Most people don’t realize he was 30-31 when he signed, and was about 33 by the time it was 2009 so the drop off shouldn’t have been a surprise.

His first year and a 1/2 here he did fine. After the arm injury he lost his passion, started to get lazy and sick of BB and the coaching staff crawling up his butt.

But yea its crazy the # of LBs and edge guys BAL has let walk in FA. AD, Judon, Mosely, Ngakoue, Smith, McPhee, etc

How about Ellerbe? That guy was so overrated and quickly let go after his pay day with the Dolphins.

Add him in there. They just plug n play OLBs and DEs down there. Great eye for identifying talent.

Maybe dumping all those players is why they haven't won squat in 10 years and went 2-4 in the playoffs.

Vote Judon into the Pro Bowl by retweeting….

why pay top dollar for one of the most expensive positions when you crank them out like a factory through the draft.

Sometimes when it's clear their position coach or scouts are really good at it, it's worth it to poach those guys (or keep them here). Baltimore with LBs, Pittsburgh with WRs, Shanahan's with RBs, Scarr with OLine, etc etc.
