He's just saying that those who are saying the Patriots should be in the SB need to take their homer glasses off.
but a certain amount of that is to be expected - just like fans of any team yelling at the ref when a flag is thrown against their team.
Hopeless optimists continue to wonder if the Pats might have made hay in the postseason
If you are one of these people, you are:
a) a homer
b) hallucinating
c) demented
d) a card-carrying Belichicklet, or
e) all of the above
I went against my better judgment and clicked it, and saw this right off the bat...
He's a troll who gets paid. Disgusting.
How anyone can find the above "alright" or "decent" is beyond me.
And remember folks, if you think the Patriots could of made the Super Bowl this year you're a hallucinating demented card-carrying Belichicklet.
[ Massarotti] is saying that those who are saying the Patriots should be in the SB need to take their homer glasses off. The thing is, I didn't get the feeling that there were very many that thought that at all.
Maz does not say the Pats would have had "no chance" in the playoffs - at least read what the guy is saying.

What is all the hysteria about? What exactly do you want to read in the newspaper? Does everyone/everything have to agree with you to be 'good' writing?

Here is a letter I sent to Massarotti:
Dear Mr. Massarotti:
Thank you for writing an article that shows the world exactly how little you actually know about football....
Please stick to the Red Sox. Leave the Patriots to someone who actually understands the game and doesn't have a thinly veiled agenda against them and their fans. I know the surged popularity of the Patriots over the last two decades have taken away some of the attention of the Red Sox and that obviously upsets you, but you can still take comfort in the fact that it is still a Red Sox town.
Regards,
