He's damaged goods, but he's their damaged goods through at least the end of next season (someone is going to take that bloated contract off their hands?)

I just spent an enjoyable 20 minutes perusing their thread on the decision that is already up to 15 pages, hours before Rex inevitably utters those words just before the noon hour live on Jets.com, of some of the most hillarious albeit intelligent banter you will ever encounter there. Aside from a small handfull of snivelling blind homers led by Ray Ray, and some troll named PatriotReign... Jets fans are in full blown revolt at this hour. Rex has lost what little remaining support he had compared to Tannenbaum and Sporano.

Well said (I can't wait to go over to the Jets board and see if I can get through another round of posts without getting banned). The fans are just plain dumb for not understanding that Ryan is taking the heat for Soprano and Tannenchez by standing behind the Sanchize. They all know that they are all gone if Sanchez doesn't pull a Transformer routine and turn into Tom Brady over the next four weeks; NOT!

Rex is doing everything but standing on Fifth Avenue with a "Woody Please Fire Me" sign.

I would expect NYJ vs SD to be flexed. There has got to be a better game they can put there.

I can think of 15 others! Unless Cardinals, Chiefs, Jags or Eagles are playing one another!

EDIT: Just checked, those 4 aren't playing any of the others, but Oakland are playing Carolina :D

Wow. So now it's the fans' fault that Sanchez sucks? Awful. Rampaging Pats homers, take note. This is what you look like to the rest of us. Well, not nearly as bad. But still...

I am pretty certain the reason Sanchez was named Jets starter is because the Jets SUCK.

I think we should all hope the Jets get the 6 seed as NE could certainly be the 3rd seed and nothing better than to beat them down 3 times in one season.

of course he is, The jets cant just get rid of that albatross.

If I'm the jets i'm playing cheeze till the end of the season hoping he shows some flashes of average so that the cards are willing to send a 5th round pick to bolster there horrible QB group

I think this is great. By benching Sanchez, Ryan essentially gave the team (by that I mean the players) permission to think that Sanchez can't get it done. The fracturing will now begin in earnest. It's just unfortunate that this game is against a lousy Jaguars team that's awful on both sides of the ball. Sanchez is probably going to get out of the game with a win, and it may even be a blowout, a la the Colts game earlier in the season. That'll keep the locker room in check for a couple of weeks, and that will lessen the fun.

But the losing will return, and the dissent will make the paper. :singing:

When notified of the Jets decision, Brandon Moore's ass cheered and said it looks forward to another strip sack of Sanchez this week.

Do you really want to play them in the playoffs? Not me. I still have too many bad memories of the Jets coming into Foxboro 2 years ago after be shellacked 45-3 in their previous meeting and beating the Pats.

Sure, I'll grant you this Patriots team is better than the 2010 team and the Jets are worse. But, it took overtime to beat them earlier this year in Foxboro.

    Lines from opening statement:

Really a decision I feel great about

I'm looking forward to seeing Mark play

Obviously, I have to get this decision right, and I believe I have
