Malcolm Butler as CB1 over Gilmore

I really don't think it matters who is considered the CB1 and who is considered the CB2.

Right now, all we know about Gilmore is that he suffered a concussion on a collision with Mike Evans, and we haven't received any updates (that I know of) in the 18 days that have followed.

It was good to see him looking like his old self out there tonight. I know some people thought he had a great game against the NJJ but I felt he was too up and down. Last night looked like the Malcolm Butler we have come to know and love. Feisty, scrappy, and always in the receivers pocket. As far as that Julio TD, JJ is from another planet.

Yes good post.
Butler seems much better than whatever they asked him to do the first 4 weeks playing out of his natural position/responsibilities. Same for McCourty. The entire defense played better when not out of position across 10 guys trying to accommodate Gilmore, who still doesn't seem to get the scheme or have awareness.
A Butler/Badmossi CB tandem seems to be VERY good.

Gilmore will be our starting CB. He played much better against Tampa. Wanna see him against the chargers.
