Mac played 13 out of 17 games last season. Your statement is not technical at all.Technically, Mac only has two seasons of NFL experience. 2022 does not count.
Now in saying that and it is slightly early but the I am not convinced he is going to get a second contract with the Patriots.
Mac doesn't play defense. And lost how many? Just have him go head to head against a backup QB and he's golden
Of course you did because it goes along with your narrative that the pass offense is all good.
We heard about it all offseason, through camp, but we never saw any proof and nobody is seeing proof now, but you. I just let you run amok and kept silent, but not any more now that the truth is out.
The NE offense is ranked 22nd and that is a reflection of your QB. Chicago shares the spot with NE.
Justin Herbert is also 0 - 2 with the 6th ranked offense.
Short and unproductive drives like right now?
Defenses are crowding the LOS and daring the Pats to pass. They like INTs and your boy is on pace for 17. Progress.
Blaming the OL right on que.
Do you realize that Tua has less time than Corky to throw?
You will never admit that youre wrong.
Wrong all off season. Wrong now and wrong tomorrow.
Corky proves my point every game.
And all you guys do is excuse his poor play... it's guaranteed in any thread about Mac, the online is brought up right away... for me Mac is not the guy who is ever going to lead this team to success... he's a .500 QB until he proves otherwise.LOL! Where did I say nothing was Mac's fault? If you cannot see the biggest problem with the offense thus far is offensive line and the second isn't remotely close. And I would put Mac pretty far down on the blame pie, but he deserves some blame.
I have blamed Mac for both INTs although Parker isn't blameless for getting forced out of bounds and then not fighting for the ball. But ultimately, they are Mac's fault. I criticized Mac for a lot of his passes to the right side of the field. And he has made some bad decisions. But overall, he played pretty well with what he has to work with. Could a better QB get better results? Probably. But that o-line is pretty abysmal.
You see this is what you Mac haters default to in any argument. You accuse anyone who is pointing out what Mac is working with as just taking all the blame off of Mac and making excuses. I wasn't.
But there is little evidence this year that Mac has little pocket awareness. It just isn't true. If he did, he probably would be on IR right now on how bad the offensive line has been.
No. he does not score enough points. Which is a real problem in an offense driven league.Mac doesn't play defense.

Every team in the league that gets a young QB tries to build up an offensive line and give him high quality passing weapons. They also aim for consistency. We've routinely had the worst passing corp in the league since he's been here (and before), have had patchwork lines, and he's had 3 OC's.And all you guys do is excuse his poor play... it's guaranteed in any thread about Mac, the online is brought up right away... for me Mac is not the guy who is ever going to lead this team to success... he's a .500 QB until he proves otherwise.

If this was the Jets, we'd all be laughing about how stupid they are for sabotaging their QB. The problem with Mac right now is not that he's good or bad. It's that we don't know what the hell he is because the team has provided a poor baseline to compare him to anyone else.
Fair enough even Kenny Pickett have a few come from behind wins and he's just in year two.And all you guys do is excuse his poor play... it's guaranteed in any thread about Mac, the online is brought up right away... for me Mac is not the guy who is ever going to lead this team to success... he's a .500 QB until he proves otherwise.

Did you read the rest of my post?Does that include the Patriots??
Nitpick much Rob?? They still go down as a come from behind win I don't make the rules.Pickett is a god awful QB for 58 minutes and plays well the final two. As long as the Steelers defense can keep the opposing offense in the teens, Pickett is your QB. Otherwise, I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. One of those from behind game winning drives, the Steelers won 16-13 (against a Tyler Huntley led Ravens and the Ravens were driving after that score and Huntley was intercepted) and the other the Steelers won 13-10 vs the Raiders. So let's put those last drive wins by Pickett in context.
